Kimberley Dewhurst Art is completely committed to protecting the privacy of all out customers and website visitors. We do not disclose any information about our customers to any third parties unless necessary to provide a service for you or to complete your order. What type of data do we collect?

We do this to fine out things such as how many people are visiting the site and various parts of the site. The way this information is processed does not identify the user. We do it simply to find out numbers to make sure the user experience is as good as it can be. We do not make or allow Google to make any attempt to find out the indignities of the people visiting our sites.

We require the above information from you in order to process your order or commission service. We may need to contact you regarding your order or to provide you with addition information on request. 

How do we use these details?

Delivery name and address - to deliver your purchase to you. 

We may email, call or text to give you update of your service. This may be for general undated, to let you know one it's complete or ready to send out to to you. 

How do we use your payment details?

We use your payment details in order to pay for a service or product. We have three methods of payment, Paypal, Card machine (Using PayPal) and BACS

Our card machine does not store any card details. Fraud prevention and detection via PayPal and your card provider - to protect you and us from false orders/card payment. 

Kimberley Dewhurst art does not sell you payment details nor do we have access to any of your payment details above. All card numbers etc are anonymised from us via payments through PayPal. 

All direct payments through our website (our website host) and used by the Big Cartel company achere to the standards set by PCI-DSS and manages by the PCI security standards council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Our izettle card machine (using PayPal) also adheres to the PCI-DSS requirements. Paypal themselves uses your data in relation to your transaction, they also collect your I.P address or other information about the device making the purchase to ensure no unauthorised transactions are being made via your PayPal account. Paypal will verify the information you provide with payment processors and/or credit reference and fraud agencies. In the course of such verification, Paypal will receive personally identifiable information about you from such services. In the particular, if you register a credit card or debit card or bank card or bank account with Paypal, they will use a card authorisation and/or fraud screening services to verify that your bank account card information and address match the information you supplied to Paypal, and that the card had not been reported as lost or stolen. Please make sure that your computer has up to date firewalls/internet security and any passwords you use for any of your payment methods are changed regularly to keep yourself protected. 

How long do we keep your data?

We will process and store personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage. If the storage period expires, the personal data will be routinely deleted. 

We have to keep hold of evidence of sales for when we complete our tax returns and if HMRC want to review anything should they ask us. We keep a record of our sales via our website, PayPal and also paper copies. The maximum time HMRC require us to keep these records are 6 years. All paper copies are kept safe and out of reach of the public.
